I hereby vow to favorite every single deviation and comment on none. Fuck you, dA.
EDIT
OK, *I* thought it was obvious, but apparently not; maybe it only matters if you're using a dinky netbook like me.
Used to be when you faved something, that was it. You could comment too if you wanted, but no pressure.
Then they started with the "don't forget to comment!" balloon. Which was kind of annoying since it got in the way of the picture you were looking at, but not really a big deal.
Now they're forcing the cursor into the comment field every time you "fave" something. And on a small screen like mine, that means scrolling way down away from all the stuff I'm interested in: the ART, and things like the "next deviation" button. Which is just a big old pain in the ass since I'm not using a handy-dandy mouse that can just zip right back to the top. It's obnoxious.
The really obnoxious part is the whole theory behind the thing. I mean seriously, do you REALLY want every single person who "faves" your piece to leave an inane pointless comment just because they think they have to? Not if you've really thought about it you don't. People should leave comments if they have something to say, and not otherwise. That crap just floods inboxes and makes it harder to find the INTERESTING comments.
Anyway, I'm sick of it.
EDIT AGAIN
Hmm, it seems to have stopped. Which is a good thing.
